Lush Lover Lamp Bath Bomb - A Perfect Gift for Valentines Day!

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

It has been a few months now since I last reviewed a bath bomb from Lush and its probably been near enough that time since I've had a bath too. Extremely unlike me as I love long soaks in the bath but quite frankly I just haven't had the time lately! Recently I was up in Dublin for the launch of YSL's new Touche Eclat Le Teint foundation and after the event was over myself and another blogger Riona decided to go and do a spot of shopping. Unfortunately I don't have a Lush store near me and being that I was in town I knew I had to stop and check out what they had to offer. As Valentines Day is fast approaching I was hoping they would have some new bits and pieces in stock that I had yet to try, and I was right!

After some pondering I finally decided on the Lover Lamp Bath Bomb. The description of this product according to Lush is as follows:

"Off with the hearts! Pop this amorous Brazilian orange oil and vanilla bomb in the bath and the fair trade orange cocoa butter hearts will melt, softening the water. Self preserving and suitable for Vegans".

What led me to pick out this bath bomb in particular was the fact that it contained cocoa butter. I'm a huge fan of products containing cocoa butter as I find it soothes my eczema, butterball from Lush is a firm favourite of mine. Aside from that though, from reading the rest of the ingredients I thought the bath bomb sounded like a dream so I said I'd give it a go!

When I popped this into the bath the first thing I noticed was that the bath bomb fizzed around the bath, dissolving very quickly. As it was making its way around the bath I noticed it was spitting out lots of tiny little hearts and was beginning to turn the bath water a cloudy white colour. Initially I couldn't put my finger on the scent, I could just get quite a powdery smell. However when I actually got into the bath after the bomb had fizzled out that was when I could smell the orange and boy was it fantastic! The addition of cocoa butter made the bath water nice and silky and every so often when I moved I'd get that gorgeous hint of orange, a smell very similar to Terrys Chocolate Orange actually. When I got out of the bath I had a residue on my skin similar to as if I had already applied moisturiser, cocoa butter working its magic again!

All in all I'm a huge fan of the lover lamp bath bath it gets a big thumbs up from me. It's definitely one to pick up this Valentines Day whether it be as a gift for a partner or as a treat for yourself! The Lover Lamp bath bomb retails at €5.45 and is available from Lush stores nationwide.

Until next time :)

Lush Mr Bumble Review

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

I have been a busy bee lately so I popped into Lush to pick up some much needed bath goodies and I ended up picking up this little guy...
very appropriate don't you think!

As you can see from the little tag above, Mr Bumble contains one
Honey Bee Bath Ballistic and a 75g bar of Honey I Washed the Kids Soap.
Amazing value for money at €10.95 and a perfect gift!

Once I carefully untied Mr Bumble the first thing that I noticed was the size of the bath bomb, to my surprise it was huge! After some more careful inspection I realised the bath bomb had the same stripy design that bumble bee's have on their bodies, another cute touch. There is nothing I love more than attention to detail, and this is spot on :)

I was buzzing with excitement, I could not wait to try out this bath bomb purely because of how big it was.
I just knew it was going to nicely fill the bath, and boy was I right!
I put the stopper in the bath and allowed it to fill up with water, once I had the temperature just right I popped in the bath bomb.

Instantly it started to fizz around the bath dissolving as it went, leaving the water tinted a bright yellow.
It wasn't long before the bath bomb had completely dissolved and in I hopped!

I'm not fond of the taste or smell of honey but to my pleasant surprise I enjoyed the sweet smell of this bath bomb. It wasn't too overpowering at all and I found that it lasted a lot longer than any other bath bomb I've ever used.
I'm not sure if this was because it was a substantially larger bath bomb compared to others I have used or if it was just down to the ingredients.
Either way I was over the moon with this find, fingers crossed I will be able to pick up this bath bomb singularly!

If you have read my Lush Secret Santa review you will know that I have tried the Honey I Washed the Kids Soap before. I actually still have my star shaped one that I got in my Secret Santa set for Christmas, its lasting a lot longer than I expected it too...and I'm not complaining! :)
It leaves my hands and skin feeling incredibly soft and smelling great too!
I'm delighted now that I have a soap to pop beside my sink and one to go in the shower now as I have gotten into a routine of using it as a body wash as well as a hand soap.

Overall I'm delighted with this little find.
Such a clever and creative little piece at only €10.95!
This little fellow would make the perfect gift for anyone born in the Spring/Summer months :)
I could not praise it enough!

Thanks for dropping by as always :*

Lush Secret Santa Review

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

No no you are not seeing things, this is a Christmas post!
With todays post you could think I am starting really early, or I am a little late..
If you read my Lush haul you will know I picked this gorgeous little package up just before Christmas and I am just getting round to reviewing it now!

I must admit I bought this based on the packaging alone, what was inside I didn't really mind too much I just thought it was packaged so beautifully!
'Secret Santa' from Lush includes one bath bomb and a soap which retails at €8.95. Its an absolute bargain at that price and is an ideal Christmas gift!

I have only ever tried a couple of bath bombs from Lush so I am open to trying anything, they are yet to disappoint!
Included in this set is the 'Cinders Bath Ballistic' and the
'Honey I Washed the Kids Soap'. Along with producing quirky packaging Lush have come up some with great names for their products.

I must admit as much as I was looking forward to trying out my goodies inside, I was dreading tearing the little santy wrapping...it had to be done.
Least I have nice photographs of it :)
Another thing I love about Lush is the fact the attach these stickers to their products. These stickers show you who actually made your Lush item for you!
I think its just a really nice touch and makes the Lush experience a little more personal. As you can see my gift was hand packaged by Lekky's team, and boy did they do a great job. Super impressed!

Inside the cardboard box as you can see my goodies were well packaged,
I'm pleased to say there were no breakages. I didn't even have to open the box and already the smell of these delicious goodies was lingering in the air!

Included inside was an information leaflet as to what is actually inside your gift.
The little brochure includes an array of products that Lush has to offer along with all of the ingredients listed in these products.
This will be helpful to anyone who is new to Lush or anyone who enjoyed the gift they received and were interested in trying more from the range.

Already I have made a little list of things to pick up the next time I'm in town!
This will have devastating effects on my bank balance..

The cinders bath bomb is a warm fruity and spicy bath bomb that is ideal for Christmas as it gives off a mulled wine scent.
I gather the idea behind the Cinders bath bomb is to mimic that warm cozy feeling next to the fire, with the addition of the red crackling particles.
I'm not sure about the mulled wine, or the crackling for that matter as I did not hear any but I did pick up traces of vanilla and cinnamon which was absolutely gorgeous.

Unlike the other bath bomb 'Butterball' that I have tried from Lush, this one didn't fizz around the bath it merely sunk to the bottom and dissolved there.

It was actually kind of amusing to watch this one dissolve, it reminded me of honey comb and coral at times!
After it had completely dissolved I swooshed my hand around the bath to disperse the bath bomb throughout the entire bath. The water then had a yellow/orange tint to it.
I was a little disappointed as the scent of this bath bomb didn't last too long.

Recently I cut my 'Honey I washed the Kids' soap in half, one half is lying proudly at the side of my basin the other in the shower.
I love how the sweet smell of honey comb lingers on the skin which is why I've been using it as a body wash too.
With regard to the performance of the soap, it definitely didn't dry out my skin however it wasn't too moisturising either. Its quite average.

This was my first Lush gift set and I most certainly will return to purchase more, whether it be a treat for myself or a gift. They are simply too gorgeous to pass by!

Have you tried any sets or products from Lush?
Let me know!
Talk soon:)

So...? Rocks Fab Gift Set Review

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

Today I have an exciting perfume review for you.
As I have said many times throughout my videos I am a sucker for smelly things...candles, perfumes, anything that smells good I'll have! I suppose you could say that I have a rather large perfume collection which I have gathered over the last god knows how long!
I usually get perfumes for my birthday and/or Christmas as sets such as this one make great gifts.

I was so... happy (no pun intended haha!) when So...? contacted me in relation to this review.
So...? would be a brand that I have bought again and again during my teenage years.
As we had a large group of friends to buy presents for, for Christmas we usually did Kris Kindle.
I cannot remember a Christmas or a birthday from the ages of about 12 to 16 where I did not receive a So...? perfume. It really was the scent to wear during your teenage years. I recall the vast majority of girls in my secondary school having a So...? perfume if not a body spray in their school bag.
I think I'd have to say growing up my absolute favourites to wear were So...? Sinful and So...? Kiss Me.
The So...? range is compact, convenient, cheap and not to mention it smells absolutely amazing....
whats not to love? :)

The fragrance set that I received is called the So...? Rocks Fab Gift Set.
A set which is right up my alley if you ask me!
Included in this set is a 100ml eau de toilette and a 75ml body fragrance for just €9.95
Yes when I said cheap I meant cheap!
Nowadays you wouldn't even get credit for your phone for a tenner so to get a a set like this for €9.95 that's pretty impressive.

The perfume is packaged beautifully!
I adore the design on the perfume bottle, the range really reminds me of Ed Hardy.
The purple part lifts off to reveal the pump.
I love how slim the packaging is, it fits nicely on my wall mounted corner stand where I hold my perfume collection.
So...? describes this fragrance to be bursting with notes of bergamot, jasmine, praline and musk.
I find the scent the perfect blend between sweet and musky.
Due to the fact it has a hint of musk I think its a rather seductive scent.
Because of this I prefer to wear this scent in the evening if I am going on a night out or casually out with friends.

This fragrance like the others I have tried from So...? has an amazing lasting power for such an affordable fragrance. I spritz one pump on my wrists and one on my neck followed by a quick spray of the body spray.
I do this before I head out in the evening and I can still smell the fragrance hours later.
Throughout the night if I want to freshen up I'll use the body spray without using the perfume again as I don't want the scent to be too overpowering.

As I said the So...? range make great gifts for friends and family.
The So...? Rocks Fab Gift set was specially created for Christmas.
In my opinion this would make the perfect stocking filler!

Now I am sure you are eager to hear where you can pick up this gorgeous scent.
So...? Rocks Fab Gift Set is available in all good pharmacies nationwide.

I am also giving away 2 gift sets to 2 lucky subscribers which will be hosted on my Youtube Channel.

Thoughts Overall

I really cannot find anything bad to say about this set.
I have been a huge fan of So...? perfumes for years and I can safely say nothing has changed.
The products are packaged nicely and this set smells divine.
The sets make excellent gift ideas for anyone on a budget.
Another great bargain buy :)

Thanks for tuning in!
