Travalo Ice Easy Fill Perfume Spray

 Hi Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

Today I'm reviewing a product that I think will come in handy for a lot of you, I know it does for me. As the title suggests the Travalo is a refillable bottle that allows you to bring your perfume with you on the go in a compact manner.
The Travalo holds 5ml which according to the company is the equivalent to 65 sprays of perfume. One of the reasons why I bought the Travalo was because I carry an entire bottle of perfume around with me on a daily basis. I like to top up my perfume during the day but carrying around an entire bottle isn't very practical. Two perfumes that I always take with me, depending on which I'm wearing that day are Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf and Daisy by Marc Jacobs. They are not the cheapest perfumes on the market and if I happened to lose or break a bottle I would be devastated. The other reason I picked up the Travalo is because I plan on travelling more this year and its just a more effective way of carrying around perfume. Being that the Travalo is only about the size of a lipstick it cuts down on space too!

There are different collections within the range and these are as follow:
  • Travalo Classic
  • Travalo Ice
  • Travelo Milano
Travalo products are a little expensive for what they are, they range in price from €15 to €38 depending on which collection you purchase from. The Classic collection is the cheapest while the Milano collection is the dearest. The only difference between the two that I can see is that the packaging of the Milano collection is much more fancy.
I picked up my Travalo Ice bottle from Tk Maxx and it was in the clearance section for only €2. I'm a great one for grabbing a bargain haha! I absolutely love the product so I will be purchasing another bottle but i'll be doing so from their Classic Collection. The Classic Travalo is €15 and comes in a wide variety of colours.

How it Works

Pick a perfume and then remove the spray nozzle.

There is a small pressure sealed opening at the bottom of the Travalo. Place this opening on top of the perfume dispenser straw and then simply pump up and down to transfer the perfume.

And that is all there is to it!

The spray bottles can be purchased directly from the Travalo website which you can find here. Debenhams also stock the range which is handy if you are living in Ireland like myself! You can browse their stock here.
Overall I'm absolutely delighted with my purchase, there are no con's where I'm concerned!

Have you tried do you think of the Travalo? Let me know!
Until next time.

Roger & Gallet Cédrat Eau Fraiche Parfumée

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

I have said it before and I will say it again, I am addicted to scents.
Whether it be candles, moisturizers or perfumes…if it smells good I simply must have it! I'm the girl that friends will ask 'Do you have some perfume?'…so in other words 'Eimear, I know you have perfume stashed away in that handbag of yours…gimmie some!'
Yes that would be true, I never leave the house without a fragrance in my handbag. I love giving myself a quick little spritz throughout the day to make sure I'm still smelling sweet! I have rather a large perfume collection but the funny thing is I don't think I have purchased a single one of them.
I'm almost certain that all of the perfumes in my collection have been gifts from either birthdays, Christmases or both!…I wouldn't have it any other way :)
As you can imagine when Christmas came around this year, it didn't come as surprise when I found myself unwrapping a few boxes of perfume.
This was just one of the lovely perfumes I was gifted and boy was I excited!

Roger & Gallet is a brand that I was only introduced to around this time last year. Lisa from Scatterbrained Blogging had a post up on one of their fragrances and I was intrigued to say the least! It was only when I was in my local pharmacy that I spotted a Roger & Gallet stand. I don't know how long it had been there, if it had been there before and I had passed it by or if I was only recognizing it now because I had read a post on it….who knows!
Ah I remember it like it was yesterday, I curiously pottered over to the stand picked up one of the perfumes and had a little sniff.
Followed by that I drenched myself in the scent haha!
Fleur d'Osmanthus was the first from the range that I fell in love with.
From that day anytime I was in the shopping centre I couldn't resist going into the pharmacy and having a cheeky spritz.
Fast forward a few months later and I have one of the perfumes to add to my ever growing collection. I let out a little squeal when I unwrapped it Christmas morning, finally no more sneaky spritzing in the chemist I now had one of my very own!

First of all I am not by any means great at describing fragrances, I'm actually quite terrible to be honest haha! Thankfully for your benefit the perfume notes are listed on the Roger & Gallet website. Hopefully with the combination of the notes and my two cents on the perfume, you will have a pretty good idea about how this perfume smells.
Lets get down to business!

Top Notes: Cédrat, Grapefruit, Mint and Water Fruit.
Middle Notes: Cardamon and Basil, Spiced with an Ozone Blend.
Base Notes: Cedar, Vetiver, Musk and White Amber.

In a nutshell 'Cédrat' or as in English 'Citron' is a citrus scent, however with the blend of all of the above ingredients it is so much more than that!
Judging by the name of the fragrance, I expected it to be very sweet and fruity but I was pleasantly surprised. On first spraying it you will notice the fruity scent which is down to the top notes, but thats as far as the fruity goes. The middle notes definitely give the fragrance a bit of 'umph' while in my opinion, the base notes are the most evident.
Overall the fragrance is some what fruity but with a musky, almost masculine feel to it. It is probably for that very reason that the boyfriend picked this out for me for Christmas, it was his favourite from the range!
With the inclusion of the woody base notes, I definitely think this could double up as a unisex fragrance.

It was only when I was sitting down to write this review that I noticed something interesting on the box. Roger & Gallet have labeled this 'perfume' as a 'fresh fragrant water'. I was a bit baffled by that as I would have assumed a fragrance water would have been something light and not heavily scented.
However this fragrance couldn't be further from my assumption, I found that the scent lingered on my skin hours after I had applied it!

There are a a variety of different fragrances within the range which come in two sizes, a 30ml bottle and a 100ml bottle.
The 30ml retails anywhere from €17 to €20 depending on where you purchase it from while the 100ml will set you back around €40. Not unreasonable prices by any means in my opinion! I cannot wait to pick up some more from the range….
Fleur d'Osmanthus I've got my eye on you ;)

Have you tried any of the range?
I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Inis 'The Energy of the Sea' Cologne Spray

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

Today I have another perfume review for you.
During the Summer I went on an Irish Vlogger/Blogger meet up
This was the first time I had been to one so I wasn't sure what to expect....
I was nervous to put it lightly!
Twice a year, us Irish Bloggers and Youtubers get together for a day, pop around the shops, investigate some products, naturally all of this works up an appetite so we round of the day with a bite to eat!
Its lovely to be around like minded people who understand your obsession with photographing absolutely everything before you swatch it or the fact that when something catches your eye the first thing that comes to your mind is
'oh I could do a tutorial inspired by that!' :)
In the Summer, on arrival Sarah (adoreabubbles) who organised the meet up greated everyone with a little goodie bag. Among other products, inside the goodie bag were little vials of Inis perfume supplied by Fragrances of Ireland.
Recently Fiona from Fragrances of Ireland contacted me with regard to reviewing 'Inis- Energy of the Sea' and kindly sent me out a bottle.

Personally I am a stickler for packaging.
Packaging needs to be unique and eye catching as it is going to be the first thing that draws the customer in.
If I see a perfume nicely packaged I tend to be intrigued as to how the fragrance smells.

I love the ocean imagery on the packaging and also the simplicity.
The box is not cluttered with writing of ingredients etc.
The box merely states the fragrances inspiration, the address where it is made and the website address as to where it can be purchased.

The perfume bottle itself its quite simplistic.
The glass is slightly frosted with the Inis logo on the front of the bottle.

When I think of the sea I think of: the cool crisp ebb and flow of the waves, the fresh breeze, personally I find the sea to be quite calm and relaxing.
As this perfume was designed around evoking images of the sea, for me it captured this perfectly.

As I am deplorable at describing fragrances I will list you the ingredients from the website. I find with perfume you really need to smell the perfume yourself before you can make a decision on purchasing some.
If you click HERE you can order a 2ml vial of the perfume from as little as €1.50, after this you will receive a discount code to this value which can be used off your next order, extremely handy!

With regard to describing the fragrance Inis state:
'Inis is a daring and seductive perfume blend based on a rugged and robost muguet (lily of the valley) to embody the coolness, clarity, energy and purity of the sea. Added to this is a top note of sparkling, diffusive citrus notes along with traces of marine notes balanced with base notes of sandalwood and oak moss and deepened with spice notes of cloves and nutmeg.'

This is a unisex scent now, the first time I smelt this perfume I thought it was leaning more towards a men's fragrance. Not that it was an issue for me I like a very broad range of scents from very sweet to rather musky.

I have been wearing this almost everyday for the last two weeks and I have to say I love it. The lasting power of the fragrance is absolutely amazing also. I'll spray the perfume on my wrists and neck as I am going out the door to college in the morning, and I can still slightly smell the scent in the evening when I come home.

It has quite a rich scent I think if you tend to opt for the more sweet/floral fragrances this may not be your cup of tea.
My boyfriend has also tried this fragrance and he agrees that he would wear it and he can tend to be quite fussy!
It just goes to show that the fragrance can be worn by both men and women as stated.

The 30ml perfume retails for €24.
The 50ml retails for €29
 and
The 100ml for €39.

Given the lasting power of the perfume and the 'strength' of the perfume so to say (you don't have to douse yourself) the fragrance is quite affordable.

Personally I find it is important that we Irish, support Irish companies.
Inis offer a wide range of fragrances along with gift sets and soaps which would make the perfect gift for a loved one this Christmas.
If you are interested in purchasing some of the Inis range.
You can do so HERE.
I can happily say I thoroughly enjoyed trying this perfume and will continue to do so :)
Have you tried any fragrances from the Inis range?
Let me know!

So...? Rocks Fab Gift Set Review

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

Today I have an exciting perfume review for you.
As I have said many times throughout my videos I am a sucker for smelly things...candles, perfumes, anything that smells good I'll have! I suppose you could say that I have a rather large perfume collection which I have gathered over the last god knows how long!
I usually get perfumes for my birthday and/or Christmas as sets such as this one make great gifts.

I was so... happy (no pun intended haha!) when So...? contacted me in relation to this review.
So...? would be a brand that I have bought again and again during my teenage years.
As we had a large group of friends to buy presents for, for Christmas we usually did Kris Kindle.
I cannot remember a Christmas or a birthday from the ages of about 12 to 16 where I did not receive a So...? perfume. It really was the scent to wear during your teenage years. I recall the vast majority of girls in my secondary school having a So...? perfume if not a body spray in their school bag.
I think I'd have to say growing up my absolute favourites to wear were So...? Sinful and So...? Kiss Me.
The So...? range is compact, convenient, cheap and not to mention it smells absolutely amazing....
whats not to love? :)

The fragrance set that I received is called the So...? Rocks Fab Gift Set.
A set which is right up my alley if you ask me!
Included in this set is a 100ml eau de toilette and a 75ml body fragrance for just €9.95
Yes when I said cheap I meant cheap!
Nowadays you wouldn't even get credit for your phone for a tenner so to get a a set like this for €9.95 that's pretty impressive.

The perfume is packaged beautifully!
I adore the design on the perfume bottle, the range really reminds me of Ed Hardy.
The purple part lifts off to reveal the pump.
I love how slim the packaging is, it fits nicely on my wall mounted corner stand where I hold my perfume collection.
So...? describes this fragrance to be bursting with notes of bergamot, jasmine, praline and musk.
I find the scent the perfect blend between sweet and musky.
Due to the fact it has a hint of musk I think its a rather seductive scent.
Because of this I prefer to wear this scent in the evening if I am going on a night out or casually out with friends.

This fragrance like the others I have tried from So...? has an amazing lasting power for such an affordable fragrance. I spritz one pump on my wrists and one on my neck followed by a quick spray of the body spray.
I do this before I head out in the evening and I can still smell the fragrance hours later.
Throughout the night if I want to freshen up I'll use the body spray without using the perfume again as I don't want the scent to be too overpowering.

As I said the So...? range make great gifts for friends and family.
The So...? Rocks Fab Gift set was specially created for Christmas.
In my opinion this would make the perfect stocking filler!

Now I am sure you are eager to hear where you can pick up this gorgeous scent.
So...? Rocks Fab Gift Set is available in all good pharmacies nationwide.

I am also giving away 2 gift sets to 2 lucky subscribers which will be hosted on my Youtube Channel.
To find out how to win click on the link to the video below.
All rules will be listed in the description box.

Thoughts Overall

I really cannot find anything bad to say about this set.
I have been a huge fan of So...? perfumes for years and I can safely say nothing has changed.
The products are packaged nicely and this set smells divine.
The sets make excellent gift ideas for anyone on a budget.
Another great bargain buy :)

Thanks for tuning in!
