Game of Thrones Collaboration: Sansa Stark

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

Today I have such an exciting tutorial for you all!
Its a collaboration with 7 other gorgeous and extremely talented YouTubers.
Maria or you may know her better as Sonorona, asked me if I would like to participate in this collaboration. I was ecstatic to say the least.
My first ever collaboration was with Maria and I had so much fun creating my skull makeup look. Its so interesting to see the outcome of each others makeup look, so different and unique yet we were working off the same theme.
Naturally when Maria suggested this collaboration I jumped at the chance :)

I was chosen to be the character Sansa Stark as my skin tone was quite similar to hers and I also had long hair. Funnily enough I was just about to start watching Game of Thrones when Maria contacted me however I was weary with the amount of college work I have due over the next few weeks. Eventually I said sod it and I started watching it...what better reason to now!

I wasn't hooked at first but I'm usually like that with tv shows I have to force myself to watch them and now I'm glad I did. I am hooked to say the least!
I find myself having to tear myself away from the laptop at 2 or 3am, its a constant battle between my head saying "just one more episode" and the fact that I know I should be sleeping...oh well!

Out of the various looks Sansa has throughout the series I decided to take inspiration from a few of them and then create my makeup look.
Hair and Makeup was mainly inspired by this image below. I think this could be Season 1 Episode 2 but I am not entirely sure!
Sansa's hair consists of parting the hair in the middle of the head and creating 2 french plaits, these plaits are then joined together as one at the back of the head. The rest of the hair is lightly waved.
Her makeup is generally quite soft with a little definition to the eyes and a small flush of colour to the cheeks. Sansa's brows although they are quite thin, they are defined there are no sparse areas so I ensured to fill mine in!

Sansa typically wears long dresses with a V neck shape.
I had nothing in my wardrobe that I could compile a look together with so I went online to pick up a costume. I bought a costume from costumeshop.ie, I was looking for a dress from the medieval era.
The dress that I bought was quite bright in colour so I layered a long black coat over it to tie my look together.

I decided to film the introduction to my video out at Glendalough as it fitted the theme quite well and I was so happy with the outcome.
It was however the most embarrassing thing I have ever done!
Walking around Glendalough in a medieval dress...
not my finest moment haha! Even the tourists gathered round and joined in taking photo's, heck one woman even followed me around nearly the whole duration I was there, snapping away :)

Here are a couple of the pictures from Glendalough!

All in all I was rather satisfied with how the pictures turned out!

Nyx Vlogger of the Month: Simple Smokey Eyes with a Statement Lip

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

As I said in the video this is the final tutorial as part of the
Nyx Vlogger of the Month...and what a month its been!
I've received nothing but brilliant feedback I'm so delighted you all enjoyed the reviews and the last tutorial too :)
I really appreciate all of your lovely comments!

I decided to do a Simple Smokey with a Statement Lip.
I've realised I rarely wear bold lip colours in my tutorials, which is a bit silly seeing as I love a vampy lip!
Also I realise I do a lot of colourful eye makeup looks which may not suit everyone so I decided on doing a simple smokey eye but paired it with the bold lip so I'd be satisfying all of my subscribers :)

Unfortunately the weather has been quite bad here in Ireland, no surprise there! So I do apologise for the lighting in this video, its a little off.
This was my third attempt at recording this tutorial.
That along with the fact that I didn't actually get time to snap any pictures of the finished look. I just had time to finish recording the tutorial before it got dark :(

The products I used today were:

Eyes
Nyx Jumbo Pencil 'Milk'
Nyx Makeup Artist Kit
Nyx Satin Finish Black Liner BEL03
Mally Volumizing Mascara Duo

Face
Avon Ideal Flawless Foundation
Blank Canvas Cosmetics 6 Contour/Blush Palette: Face Powder
Nyx Makeup Artist Kit: Bronzer and Highlighter

Lips
Nyx Retractable Lip Liner MPL16 Plum
Nyx Makeup Artist Kit: Plum Lip Colour

Inis 'The Energy of the Sea' Cologne Spray

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

Today I have another perfume review for you.
During the Summer I went on an Irish Vlogger/Blogger meet up
This was the first time I had been to one so I wasn't sure what to expect....
I was nervous to put it lightly!
Twice a year, us Irish Bloggers and Youtubers get together for a day, pop around the shops, investigate some products, naturally all of this works up an appetite so we round of the day with a bite to eat!
Its lovely to be around like minded people who understand your obsession with photographing absolutely everything before you swatch it or the fact that when something catches your eye the first thing that comes to your mind is
'oh I could do a tutorial inspired by that!' :)
In the Summer, on arrival Sarah (adoreabubbles) who organised the meet up greated everyone with a little goodie bag. Among other products, inside the goodie bag were little vials of Inis perfume supplied by Fragrances of Ireland.
Recently Fiona from Fragrances of Ireland contacted me with regard to reviewing 'Inis- Energy of the Sea' and kindly sent me out a bottle.

Personally I am a stickler for packaging.
Packaging needs to be unique and eye catching as it is going to be the first thing that draws the customer in.
If I see a perfume nicely packaged I tend to be intrigued as to how the fragrance smells.

I love the ocean imagery on the packaging and also the simplicity.
The box is not cluttered with writing of ingredients etc.
The box merely states the fragrances inspiration, the address where it is made and the website address as to where it can be purchased.

The perfume bottle itself its quite simplistic.
The glass is slightly frosted with the Inis logo on the front of the bottle.

When I think of the sea I think of: the cool crisp ebb and flow of the waves, the fresh breeze, personally I find the sea to be quite calm and relaxing.
As this perfume was designed around evoking images of the sea, for me it captured this perfectly.

As I am deplorable at describing fragrances I will list you the ingredients from the website. I find with perfume you really need to smell the perfume yourself before you can make a decision on purchasing some.
If you click HERE you can order a 2ml vial of the perfume from as little as €1.50, after this you will receive a discount code to this value which can be used off your next order, extremely handy!

With regard to describing the fragrance Inis state:
'Inis is a daring and seductive perfume blend based on a rugged and robost muguet (lily of the valley) to embody the coolness, clarity, energy and purity of the sea. Added to this is a top note of sparkling, diffusive citrus notes along with traces of marine notes balanced with base notes of sandalwood and oak moss and deepened with spice notes of cloves and nutmeg.'

This is a unisex scent now, the first time I smelt this perfume I thought it was leaning more towards a men's fragrance. Not that it was an issue for me I like a very broad range of scents from very sweet to rather musky.

I have been wearing this almost everyday for the last two weeks and I have to say I love it. The lasting power of the fragrance is absolutely amazing also. I'll spray the perfume on my wrists and neck as I am going out the door to college in the morning, and I can still slightly smell the scent in the evening when I come home.

It has quite a rich scent I think if you tend to opt for the more sweet/floral fragrances this may not be your cup of tea.
My boyfriend has also tried this fragrance and he agrees that he would wear it and he can tend to be quite fussy!
It just goes to show that the fragrance can be worn by both men and women as stated.

The 30ml perfume retails for €24.
The 50ml retails for €29
 and
The 100ml for €39.

Given the lasting power of the perfume and the 'strength' of the perfume so to say (you don't have to douse yourself) the fragrance is quite affordable.

Personally I find it is important that we Irish, support Irish companies.
Inis offer a wide range of fragrances along with gift sets and soaps which would make the perfect gift for a loved one this Christmas.
If you are interested in purchasing some of the Inis range.
You can do so HERE.
I can happily say I thoroughly enjoyed trying this perfume and will continue to do so :)
Have you tried any fragrances from the Inis range?
Let me know!
