Sleek Makeup i-Divine Ultra Mattes Palette Dark V2

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

Today I have a review of another Sleek Makeup eyeshadow palette. You all know by now I love their products, I can't recall a single item that I didn't like *touches wood*. So as you can imagine this review is no different to the others, its a positive review of a brilliant palette!
I've already reviewed a couple of Sleek's eyeshadow palettes including the V1 version of this palette which you can find here if you are interested.
The 'Brights Palette V1' was actually my first Sleek Makeup purchase which was over a year and a half ago. Ah such fond memories :')
The relationship has been going steady ever since!

The name of the palette may just be a dead giveaway but included in this palette are 12 matte eyeshadows. Never would have guessed would you huh?
Like the rest of the Sleek palettes I have tried, the eyeshadows in the palette are highly pigmented. The texture of each eyeshadow slightly varies, some are more soft than others and some have a more chalky consistency.
When using these shadows you will get a little bit of fallout down onto the cheek area even with the use of a primer, in particular with the shade 'Noir'. Eyeshadow fallout isn't a big deal to me, for that reason I always apply my foundation after my eye makeup so I can clean away any eyeshadow that has dropped down onto the cheeks. I know a lot of people prefer to apply their foundation before eye makeup so the fallout could be a little problem for you.
Nothing a bit of concealer couldn't fix so overall I personally don't find it to be a big deal :)
When you open the palette you will find a plastic slip with the names of each of the eyeshadows on it. This is the one thing I don't like, across all of the Sleek eyeshadow palettes. I like being able to place a name to each eyeshadow which is particularly helpful if you do makeup tutorials like myself. Its handy to be able to point out to viewers the name of the eyeshadow opposed to saying 'this one here'. I would have preferred is the eyeshadow names were printed on the back of the palette behind each of the eyeshadows. But thats just me being picky hehe. No other complainants here!

As much as I love my brightly coloured eyeshadows theres nothing that makes me weak at the knees like a decent dark smokey eyes palette.
I love the variety of colours in this palette, for me it consists of the perfect shade range to create a deep smokey eye look….and a natural smokey eye too surprisingly. Don't just limit yourself to using black for a smokey eye, a smokey eye can be created using any colour and there are some real beauties in this palette! I've repurchased this palette twice I just absolutely adore it!

I love the simplicity of the packaging. Its plain black with just the company logo on the front and its super sturdy. The large mirror inside is a bonus too making it a perfect palette for on the go! I have used this palette to create numerous makeup looks on my channel, I would almost go as far as saying that this is my favourite eyeshadow palette…ever. Yep! That is how much I love it. It is definitely my most reached for palette out of all of the eyeshadow palettes I own. Below I have posted just a couple of eyeshadow looks I have created using the palette, with links to tutorials on how to achieve the looks!

You can guarantee that this will not be the last time you hear me talk about/ use this palette. I have already 2 more upcoming makeup tutorials using the palette :) I can't get enough of it! Probably the best thing about this eyeshadow palette is the price. You can pick this palette up from loads of different places, I purchased mine from Cloud10Beauty for only €9.99!
Its astounding that you can pick up an eyeshadow palette of this quality for less than a tenner, you really can't go wrong!
If there was ever a palette I could tell you that you need in your collection, this is it. You will not be disappointed :)

Have you tried any of the Sleek palettes?
What are your thoughts?
Eimear x
