Game of Thrones Collaboration: Sansa Stark

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

Today I have such an exciting tutorial for you all!
Its a collaboration with 7 other gorgeous and extremely talented YouTubers.
Maria or you may know her better as Sonorona, asked me if I would like to participate in this collaboration. I was ecstatic to say the least.
My first ever collaboration was with Maria and I had so much fun creating my skull makeup look. Its so interesting to see the outcome of each others makeup look, so different and unique yet we were working off the same theme.
Naturally when Maria suggested this collaboration I jumped at the chance :)

I was chosen to be the character Sansa Stark as my skin tone was quite similar to hers and I also had long hair. Funnily enough I was just about to start watching Game of Thrones when Maria contacted me however I was weary with the amount of college work I have due over the next few weeks. Eventually I said sod it and I started watching it...what better reason to now!

I wasn't hooked at first but I'm usually like that with tv shows I have to force myself to watch them and now I'm glad I did. I am hooked to say the least!
I find myself having to tear myself away from the laptop at 2 or 3am, its a constant battle between my head saying "just one more episode" and the fact that I know I should be sleeping...oh well!

Out of the various looks Sansa has throughout the series I decided to take inspiration from a few of them and then create my makeup look.
Hair and Makeup was mainly inspired by this image below. I think this could be Season 1 Episode 2 but I am not entirely sure!
Sansa's hair consists of parting the hair in the middle of the head and creating 2 french plaits, these plaits are then joined together as one at the back of the head. The rest of the hair is lightly waved.
Her makeup is generally quite soft with a little definition to the eyes and a small flush of colour to the cheeks. Sansa's brows although they are quite thin, they are defined there are no sparse areas so I ensured to fill mine in!

Sansa typically wears long dresses with a V neck shape.
I had nothing in my wardrobe that I could compile a look together with so I went online to pick up a costume. I bought a costume from costumeshop.ie, I was looking for a dress from the medieval era.
The dress that I bought was quite bright in colour so I layered a long black coat over it to tie my look together.

I decided to film the introduction to my video out at Glendalough as it fitted the theme quite well and I was so happy with the outcome.
It was however the most embarrassing thing I have ever done!
Walking around Glendalough in a medieval dress...
not my finest moment haha! Even the tourists gathered round and joined in taking photo's, heck one woman even followed me around nearly the whole duration I was there, snapping away :)

Here are a couple of the pictures from Glendalough!

All in all I was rather satisfied with how the pictures turned out!
