Irish Bloggers Secret Santa Reveal!

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all are well :)

Todays post is a little different than usual, its not a product review or tutorial!
Aisling from TotalMakeupAddict took it upon herself to organize a Secret Santa exchange for us all. Between creating surveys, gathering names and addresses, emailing each Irish Blogger their Secret Santa partner..it can't have been easy!
A huge amount of time and effort went into making this a success so thanks a million Aisling! :)

I was paired with Megan-Rose from alittlebitofmakeupandbeauty.com.
You can read to see what I bought Megan-Rose here!

I had a sneaky suspicion who might have been my Secret Santa from the contents in side and I'm chuffed to say I was right!
The lovely Orla from MakeupOverMind was my Secret Santa and its safe to say I was spoilt:)

Unfortunately I do not have photos of my presents wrapped..mainly because I devoured them the second they came in the letterbox. But hey! I'm not the only one, it seems most Irish Bloggers opened theirs straight away :)
Mine actually arrived on my birthday so I at least had some excuse!

The first present my beady little eyes were drawn to was this Illamasqua blush.
I could have cried…this is my first ever piece of Illamasqua makeup!
I'm not sure whether to thank Orla or curse her because this is the start of a beautiful relationship that my bank balance won't thank me for ^.^
The Illamasqua Powder Blush in the shade 'Nymph' is the perfect shade of pink for us pale skinned girls, its so flattering on the skin. After reading reviews on the companies products I wasn't the least bit surprised with how highly pigmented the blush was, its second to none. You only need the tiniest bit of this for a flush of colour across the cheeks, but if you have applied too much it blends out like a dream. Ugh, it was love at first sight!

The next present Orla picked out for me was a Bourjois Colour Edition 24h Cream Eyeshadow. The shade I received is called 02 Or désir.
The first thing that sprung to my head was the Maybelline Color Tattoo's, I cannot wait to see how the Bourjois shadow compares to those!
This shade is a really nice gold/bronze shade which I know I'll get tones of wear out of, particularly as an eyeshadow base :)

Orla also included a cute little Christmas card and a candy cane.
I ended up eating and replacing the candy cane, the one you see in the photo is an imposter…..no shame :(

I'm so delighted with my gifts and judging by the posts from the other Irish Bloggers I think they are too :) If you would like to read some more posts head over to twitter and search the hashtag #irishbbloggersSS
Thanks again Orla and Aisling!
Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas :D

Lots of love
Eimear x
